The block-in is done and now it’s time that I start getting detailed.
I pulled out my smaller softer brushes and began with the top of the figure. The paint is dry here from the block-in so I can smoothly lay more paint on top without worrying about covering up the canvas. At this point I keep focus on bending the form and pushing the colors. The colors may get a bit extreme but I’m planning a third glazing layer to tone them down a bit.
