Fatigue: Knee and Calf

I’m happy that I’m well enough now to get back to work on this painting.

Even after just a few days coming back to a painting is kinda odd. Normally when I stop on a painting I stop for good and never come back to it. But this painting has some potential I think and I don’t want the momentum to die.

I only paint a small section every day and today I worked on the models right knee and calf. After painting for a bit and looking back on what I’d done I can tell, just a bit, the differences in brush strokes from my previous sessions on this painting. I feel like this is due to a difference in mindset after the short break away from the painting. It’s subtle but it is there.
