You might notice a difference in the colors of the painting in this post from every other post of the same painting.
I always take photos of my oil paintings after I finish the session and when I take the photos I use a dual polarization setup. If you’re wondering what that is and how to do it check out my lengthy post on the setup. Anyway, one of the side effects to using a dual polarization setup is over saturation of colors. Normally I would fix this in post processing of the images before posting on my site but for the past 22 sessions of this painting I have forgotten to reduce the saturation. Now, starting for this post you will see colors on the canvas that are more true to life.
