Patrick: Lighter and Better

I reworked the painting behind Patrick’s hand and it looks much better now without the dark textures.

I still pan on putting the moons back on the painting but the next time I will do it much lighter.

I also spent a lot of time today writing on the yet to be released Practical Wisdom for Art Making part of my website.

What went well?

The change to the painting was much better and I’m very happy with the texture that I’m imposing upon the wall and the painting.

What didn’t go so well?

Some timing issues with my day, I was a bit late in starting painting.

What did I learn?

Every stroke should be to the best of my ability. If I can achieve this and get a little done each day my heart fills with joy at the end of a painting session and I’m super motivated to start again the next day.
