Gestures, Gestures, Gestures

I’m still focusing on website stuff. It has invaded my brain.

So I’m only sending about an hour on drawing daily until I get the web stuff out of the way, or under control enough where I can actually shift my motivation back to art making.

I’ve learned over the years that motivation comes in waves, the process is organic. It’s best to recognize my feelings and don’t fight what is.

What went well?

Gesture drawing and weight.

What didn’t go so well?

Trying to visualize the whole figure at once is a challenge and trying to capture that vision on paper is even harder.

What did I learn and/or how can I do better?

Break up tasks into smaller focused chunks.
