Sheldon Cooper Drawing Finished

I could refine this drawing more and edit some of the crosshatching but I really don’t have the energy for it so I’m calling the Sheldon Cooper drawing finished.

I have a book called Rendering in Pen and Ink that I haven’t read yet but it goes over all of the skills necessary to crosshatch like a pro.

Warm-up and DrawABox exercises

One Minute Gestures

I feel as though I’m beginning to develop my own method for seeing the gesture in figures and recording it quickly. It’s a combination of what I’ve learned from The Natural Way to Draw and Steve Huston’s book Figure Drawing for Artists.

I was able to get a good amount of time in art today and call this Sheldon Cooper drawing finished.

What needs work? What did you learn?

My energy needs some work right now, I’m going to take it easy on my workouts for the next few days.

How am I going to Optimize moving forward?

Paying attention to all the data given by my Oura ring and making sure that I balance my rest and diet.
