Wonder Woman: Finished

I’m so happy to have a drawing of Wonder Woman that I like.

I wish that I wasn’t still relying on some crutches still to check my work though. At certain points in this drawing I’m taking photos of my progress and testing them exactly with the photograph through and overlay process in Photoshop.

What I am doing in order to increase my ability with comparative measurement is that I will try drawing where the object or line should be then I will use comparative measurement to check if I was right. I’m trying to hone my skills with seeing something and reproducing it as close as possible. This is super hard when trying to match a likeness because it depends on almost perfect placement of the facial features to get a likeness.

For the rest of the sessions I may be splitting my time between the Fandom Fitness project and my next painting.

What went well?

I’m happy with this drawing and it may be published in the future.

What didn’t go so well?

I had to rely on too much digital means to get here.

What did I learn and/or how can I do better?

I learned to constantly hone my skills in seeing something and drawing it accurately. I don’t think I will ever be okay to stop practicing this. Plus I can do better by eventually moving away from any digital measurement and trusting my skills for any drawing.
